OUR STEAM JOURNEY

Our STEAM journey started under the direction of Dr. Andy Bristow approximately 6 years ago.  He was responsible for bringing new technology, new classes, and the idea for a STEM-oriented curriculum.  With the guidance and mentorship of Dr. Ansley Daniel, Simpson started striving towards a STEAM mindset.  As a staff, we have built an atmosphere of collaborative, hands on, and meaningful learning that transcends our classroom walls into the world around us.  We have slowly built extra computer labs, raised funding for tech carts, and gathered as much tape and cardboard as possible. We are using STEAM to create, inspire, motivate, and innovate as we prepare students for their future.
